About This Trail
A flat 6-mile segment along the historic Ohio & Erie Canal corridor through Peninsula, following the original canal towpath where mules once pulled cargo boats. The crushed-limestone surface passes restored canal locks, the Peninsula Depot visitor center, and runs alongside the Cuyahoga River with options to ride the scenic railroad back.
