About This Trail
Trace State Park offers a network of trails ranging from short nature walks to extended forest loops, all set against the backdrop of scenic Trace Lake. The varied terrain passes through pine and hardwood forests, along the lakeshore, and past small streams. Nearby camping facilities make this an excellent base for multi-day exploration of the park and surrounding Natchez Trace region.
Getting There
From Tupelo, take MS-6 west approximately 10 miles to the Trace State Park entrance on the left. Follow the park road to the main parking area, where trail maps are available at the park office.
