About This Trail

A 2.4-mile rugged route to Tunnel Falls, passing near the 600-foot Brough’s Tunnel, a remnant of a failed 19th-century railroad venture. The canyon walls tower overhead as the trail crosses creek beds, and Tunnel Falls access is seasonal due to bat hibernation protection.

Getting There

From Madison, head west on SR 56 approximately 1 mile to Clifty Falls State Park. The park entrance is off SR 56, and Trail 5 to Tunnel Falls begins near the Lilly Memorial area.
