About This Trail

Yellow Rock Trail is a Devil’s Den classic, climbing through cedar glades to a massive sandstone bluff with commanding views of Lee Creek Valley. The trail showcases stonework crafted by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, passing through boulder fields and past unique rock formations along the way. The yellow-orange sandstone of the overlook glows magnificently in afternoon light, and autumn brings spectacular foliage to the valley below. Moderate difficulty with some steep sections rewards hikers with one of the finest vistas in northwest Arkansas.
