About This Trail

A short 1.6 mile hike from the Rabun Beach Campground to both Panther Falls and Angel Falls. You leave the Rabun Beach parking area and pass Panther Falls then end at an observation deck beneath Angel Falls.

You follow Joe creek for about a mile, before reaching Panther Falls. There is a total elevation gain of about 750 feet to the base of Angel Falls from the trailhead.

Getting There

Take HWY 441 toward Clayton. After crossing the Tallulah Falls Bridge, go 1.7 miles and turn left onto Old HWY 441. Proceed 2.5 miles and turn left onto Lake Rabun Road. Travel 5 miles to Rabun Beach Campground on the right. Angel Falls Trail begins near Area 2 in the campground.
