About This Trail

A wide, smooth 11.5-mile rail-trail along the northern shore of the Ashokan Reservoir with mountain and water scenery throughout. The easy, accessible path is suitable for walkers, cyclists, and wheelchair users. The Catskill escarpment provides a dramatic backdrop across the reservoir.

Getting There

From Kingston, take Route 28 west. The Woodstock Dike Trailhead is at 1285 NY-28 in West Hurley, approximately 5.3 miles from Thruway Exit 19. Additional trailheads are at Ashokan Station (mile 11.3) and Boiceville Bridge (mile 16.5).
