About This Trail
This 3.4-mile red-blazed trail earns its Most Difficult rating with steep, rocky climbs to Baughman Rock, a spectacular overlook above the Youghiogheny River Gorge. The panoramic view encompasses the deep gorge, forested ridges, and river bends far below. One of Ohiopyle’s most rewarding summit hikes for those willing to work for the vista.
