About This Trail

This loop traverses the 7,441-acre Quebec Run Wild Area in Forbes State Forest, one of the largest wild areas in southwestern Pennsylvania on the eastern slope of Chestnut Ridge. Six interconnected trails wind through creek valleys, mixed hardwood forest, and rhododendron thickets with a remote backcountry feel. Primitive camping is available and the full outer loop covers over 10 miles with 1,755 feet of elevation gain.
