About This Trail
A Lake George wilderness route of about 5.6 miles round-trip climbing to the 2,646-foot summit, the highest peak directly on the shores of Lake George. The trail passes through varied terrain with exposed ledges near the summit. A fire tower at the top offers sweeping views over the lake and surrounding peaks.
