Getting There

From Jackson, NH, take Route 16B (Carter Notch Road) east for 3.9 miles. Turn right onto Melloon Road and continue about a third of a mile. The Black Mountain Trail sign is at the beginning of a private drive; the trailhead is 100 feet up on the right.
