About This Trail

A remote river-corridor route following the East Branch of the Pemigewasset River deep into the 45,000-acre wilderness area. The trail passes through old-growth forest along the waterway, serving as a gateway to the Bonds, Owl’s Head, and other backcountry destinations.

Getting There

From Lincoln, take the Kancamagus Highway (Route 112) east for 5.1 miles to the Lincoln Woods Visitor Center parking on the north side of the road. Cross the suspension bridge to access the Pemigewasset Wilderness trails.
