About This Trail

This 2.5-mile trail hugs the eastern bank of Brandywine Creek entirely within the floodplain, running from the northern park boundary near Brandywine Battlefield to the Rockland Road trailhead. The shaded natural-surface path offers close proximity to the creek with chances to spot kingfishers, great blue herons, and wood ducks along the wooded riparian corridor.
