About This Trail

Also known as Mount Taurus, this 5.4-mile loop in Hudson Highlands State Park climbs through rock scrambles to views of Storm King, Breakneck Ridge, and the Hudson River. On clear days, the NYC skyline is visible to the south. Accessible by Metro-North to Cold Spring for a car-free outing.

Getting There

From Cold Spring, take Route 9D north along the Hudson River. The Bull Hill (Mount Taurus) trailhead is accessible from the Notch Trail parking area on Route 9D, approximately 1 mile north of town.
