About This Trail

A 3.3-mile easy lakeside route along Cagles Mill Lake, Indiana’s first flood-control reservoir built in 1952 on the Eel and White River watersheds. The trail follows the shoreline of the 1,400-acre lake in Owen County with broad water views and gentle, family-friendly terrain.

Getting There

From Cloverdale, take I-70 to Exit 41 and head south on US-231. Continue approximately 6 miles, then follow signs to Lieber State Recreation Area near Cagles Mill Lake. The trail starts near the Army Corps office by the dam.
