About This Trail
Built in 1852 and operated until 1917, Center Furnace was the most successful iron operation in Land Between the Lakes. A 0.3-mile interpretive path passes the brick furnace ruins, a charcoal hearth replica, scattered blue slag, and a 150-year-old white oak known as the Wolf Tree.
