About This Trail
A 3.7-mile rolling trail to the summit of Gildersleeve Mountain in Chapin Forest Reservation, where a scenic overlook atop Sharon Conglomerate ledges reveals Lake Erie and the Cleveland skyline on clear days. The route winds through nearly six miles of mature beech, maple, oak, and hemlock forest managed by Lake Metroparks.
