About This Trail

Following Davis Creek through the Bald Mountains of Cherokee National Forest, this moderate 5.6-mile trail gains 1,735 feet with 13 creek crossings. Overgrown sections between well-blazed markers add a wilderness feel to this route connecting with Phillips Hollow and Artie Hollow trails.

Getting There

From Oneida, take US-27 south to TN-63. Head east to the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. The Davis Creek trailhead is accessible from the park road system near Leatherwood Ford.
