About This Trail
This 1.5-mile short sandy spur crosses barrier-island dune zones in Delaware Seashore State Park, where American beach grass and seaside goldenrod stabilize the shifting sand. The out-and-back route offers close views of the dynamic dune ecosystem that protects the narrow strip of land between the Atlantic Ocean and Rehoboth Bay.
