About This Trail
A 3.2-mile round-trip to Giant Ledge at 3,200 feet, extendable to 6.9 miles to reach the 3,720-foot Panther Mountain summit. The steep, rocky climb rewards with some of the Catskills’ best viewpoints from the ledge outcrops. Located in the Slide Mountain Wilderness off Route 47 near Big Indian.
