About This Trail
The route to the Catskills’ highest peak at 4,180 feet, with options ranging from a straightforward 5.4-mile round-trip via the western approach to a strenuous 7-mile eastern traverse over Wittenberg and Cornell. The red-blazed Burroughs Range Trail follows the historic 1892 horse trail along the southwest ridge.
