About This Trail

A 1.3-mile boardwalk and level path skirting the Great Marsh, one of the largest remaining interdunal wetlands in the Great Lakes region. The accessible route offers excellent birding for herons, rails, and migrating waterfowl amid cattails and sedge meadows.

Getting There

From Beverly Shores, take US-12 north to Broadway Avenue. The Great Marsh Trail parking lots are north of US-12 on Broadway Avenue, with the main trailhead at the south parking lot.
