About This Trail
A short but steep 0.9-mile climb through Indiana Dunes’ towering lakefront sand dunes, gaining significant elevation on loose sand to reach panoramic views over Great Marsh and Lake Michigan. Part of the park’s famous Three Dune Challenge, which tackles 552 vertical feet across the tallest dunes in the national park.
