About This Trail

Circle a flooded 440-million-year-old granite quarry and explore rocky tide pools on Cape Ann in Rockport at this former Babson Farm quarry site. On clear days, panoramic ocean views extend from Crane Beach in Ipswich to Mount Agamenticus in Maine and the Isles of Shoals.

Getting There

From Rockport center, follow Route 127 north 2.4 miles and turn right onto Gott Avenue. The Halibut Point State Park entrance and parking area are on the right at 4 Gott Avenue. A parking fee applies.
