About This Trail

Looping around Honker Lake near the Nature Station in Land Between the Lakes, this well-maintained trail follows shoreline, forest, and open meadows. Bald eagles, osprey, beavers, and nesting Canada geese make it one of the recreation area’s premier birding destinations.

Getting There

From US-68/KY-80, take The Trace north into Land Between the Lakes. Turn onto Silver Trail Road (LBL Road 133) and continue to the Nature Station area to reach the Honker Trail.
