About This Trail

A steep 3.8-mile ascent via the Waterbury Trail to an exposed rocky summit with panoramic views of nearly every peak in the Green Mountain Range. The Worcester Range’s most popular hike demands scrambling over open rock near the top, but rewards with vistas from Mansfield to the Adirondacks.

Getting There

From Waterbury Center, turn onto Hollow Road from VT-100, then left onto Howard Avenue and Maple Street. Turn right on Loomis Hill Road for 1.9 miles to Sweet Farms Road and continue 1.5 miles to the trailhead.
