About This Trail

Winding nature trail through 305-acre LeFleur’s Bluff State Park on the banks of the Pearl River in Jackson. Interpretive plaques identify local flora and fauna, while observation platforms overlook Mayes Lake and scenic swamplands. Adjacent to the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science.

Getting There

From I-55 in Jackson, take the Lakeland Drive exit. Head east on Lakeland Terrace to LeFleur's Bluff State Park at 3315 Lakeland Terrace. Trails wind through woodlands around Mayes Lake.
