About This Trail

Jackson’s first rail-trail, built on the old Gulf, Mobile & Ohio Railroad corridor, connecting the Mississippi Farmers Market to the Children’s Museum over 2.5 paved miles. Passes the Two Mississippi Museums, Civil Rights Museum, and LeFleur’s Bluff State Park. Smooth asphalt surface through three historic Jackson neighborhoods.

Getting There

From downtown Jackson, take I-55 north to Lakeland Drive exit. Head west on Lakeland Drive, then south on Ridgewood Road to access the Museum Trail near the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science.
