Lick Fork Lake
Hiking loop along Lick Fork Creek and Lick Fork Lake
The trail begins at the swimming area of Lick Fork Lake Recreation by heading northward along the stream. A 90-degree left turn is located about half a mile into the hike, where hikers must turn and do a rock-hop across the creek. Watch carefully for the sign, as the trail appears to continue along into the forest, but it actually fades out before too long. The trail then continues along opposite side of the stream, heading south, until it reaches Lick Fork Lake. The trail crosses Lick Fork Creek again on the far side of the lake, then joins Horn Creek Trail for a short time before turning northward along the lake and returning to the trailhead.
Length: 1.7 miles
