About This Trail

Explore the 2,200-acre Lynn Woods Reservation, the second-largest municipal park in the country, past a 48-foot WPA-era stone tower and the mysterious Dungeon Rock pirate cave. The 3.9-mile loop connects the 1936 observation tower with panoramic views to the legendary treasure-hunting tunnel.

Getting There

From I-95, take Exit 44B to Route 1 North toward Lynn. Follow Lynnfield Street south 4 miles to the Great Woods Road entrance to Lynn Woods Reservation. Stone Tower is accessible from the main trail network.
