About This Trail

A multi-use river corridor trail running parallel to the Delaware River through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, with access to historic sites, waterfalls, and diverse forest habitats. The varied terrain includes river overlooks, hemlock ravines, and open meadows. Part of the recreation area’s 150+ mile trail network spanning the Pennsylvania-New Jersey border.

Getting There

From East Stroudsburg, take US-209 north to the Hialeah Recreation Site for the southern trailhead, or continue to Milford Beach at 150 Milford Beach Road for the northern end of the McDade Trail.
