About This Trail
Difficult 2.3-mile trail deep in the Citico Creek Wilderness of Cherokee National Forest, connecting the North River corridor to the Cherohala Skyway corridor. Remote and lightly maintained, with steep grades through old-growth Appalachian forest. Part of a nearly 22,000-acre wilderness straddling the Tennessee-North Carolina border.
