About This Trail

Ascend the 1,642-foot quartzite summit of Peeskawso Peak on a Trustees of Reservations property in Great Barrington, with knife-edge views of the Housatonic Valley, Berkshires, and Catskills. The trails pass an ancient Mohican stone monument and the dramatic rock formation known as Devil’s Pulpit.

Getting There

From Great Barrington, take Route 7 north approximately 4 miles. The Monument Mountain Reservation entrance and metered parking are on the left side of Route 7 between Great Barrington and Stockbridge.
