About This Trail

The most direct 1.9-mile route to the summit of Mount Monadnock, one of the most climbed mountains in the world with 125,000 annual hikers. The steep, rocky ascent through Paradise Valley leads to a treeless summit with views stretching into Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

Getting There

From Jaffrey, take Route 124 west, turn right onto Dublin Road, then left onto Poole Road to Monadnock State Park at 116 Poole Road. The White Dot Trail is the most direct route to the summit.
