About This Trail
A long out-and-back to the wooded 4,043-foot summit of Mount Passaconaway, one of the more remote 4,000-footers in the Sandwich Range Wilderness. The quiet trail through mixed forest rewards patient hikers with a sense of deep backcountry solitude and limited viewpoints along the upper ridgeline.
