About This Trail

A steep climb along the Appalachian Trail to Mount Webster’s dramatic cliff-edge summit overlooks above Crawford Notch. The trail ascends the notch’s eastern wall with increasingly dramatic views into the glacially carved valley, making it one of the most scenic approaches in the region.

Getting There

From Crawford Notch, the Webster Cliff trailhead is on US-302, about 1 mile south of the Willey House. A small parking area is across the street from the trailhead marker.
