About This Trail

Walk the grounds where 200 Patriot militiamen defeated a larger Loyalist force on August 19, 1780, along the Enoree River. Interpretive waysides tell the battle’s story across 2.1 miles, beginning at an ADA-accessible overlook of Horseshoe Falls. Living history programs and ranger-guided hikes bring the Revolution to life.

Getting There

From I-26, take Exit 52 for SC-56 toward Cross Anchor and Clinton. Head south on SC-56 for about 3 miles. The Musgrove Mill State Historic Site entrance is on the right at 398 State Park Road, Clinton.
