About This Trail
Hike the 7.3-mile Pine Barrens Path through globally rare pitch pine and scrub oak habitat in southeastern Massachusetts’ largest state forest. The flat, sandy trail passes frost pockets and kettle ponds, with chances to spot Buck Moths and Pine Warblers in this distinctive landscape.
