About This Trail

Strolling atop Natchez Bluff with unobstructed Mississippi River views, this path passes Victorian-era homes on Clifton Avenue before descending a 200-foot wooden staircase to the riverbank. Interpretive panels trace Natchez’s history back to 1716. Benches at strategic points invite lingering over river traffic and Louisiana sunsets.

Getting There

From downtown Natchez, head to the intersection of North Broadway and Franklin Street. The Bluff Trail runs along Clifton Avenue atop the bluffs with views of the Mississippi River, accessible from multiple points along Broadway.
