About This Trail

A quick half-mile hike near Woodbury to a 200-foot granite cliff face with breathtaking views south and west across miles of unbroken forest. The southwest-facing ledge is closed during peregrine falcon nesting season, protecting the raptors that breed on the cliff.

Getting There

From Stowe, take Route 100 south to Morristown, then follow Route 15 east. Turn south on Nichols Ledge Road in Hardwick. The trailhead parking is at the end of the road near Nichols Ledge.
