About This Trail
Follow the eastern ridge of this Middletown sanctuary to Hanging Rock, an outcrop of ancient puddingstone conglomerate with sweeping views of the Atlantic, Gardiner Pond, and Sakonnet River. The 2-mile trail traverses dramatic rock formations just four miles from Newport.
