About This Trail

Spanning the full length of Land Between the Lakes from Grand Rivers, Kentucky, to the Tennessee border, this 55-mile backpacking route traverses shoreline paths, wooded ridges, and bottomland hardwood stands. Backcountry shelters and natural springs dot the corridor. Free permits available at visitor centers for overnight camping.

Getting There

From Cadiz, take US-68 south to Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area in Trigg County. The North-South Trail runs the length of the recreation area and can be accessed from the northern welcome station.
