About This Trail

Historical trail in Cherokee National Forest’s Watauga Ranger District, where remnants of early Appalachian homesteads can be discovered along the forested route. Getting There

From Shelbyville, take US-231 south. The Old Homestead Trail is in south-central Tennessee. Access the trail from local roads near the Tullahoma area off US-41A.
