About This Trail
A moderate ascent of about 6 miles round-trip near Long Lake to open ledges overlooking Long Lake and the High Peaks in the distance. The final stretch breaks out of the forest canopy onto exposed rock with sweeping vistas. A rewarding hike in the central Adirondacks without extreme elevation demands.
