About This Trail

A 6.0-mile segment of the 13-mile Pufferbelly Trail, named after old steam locomotives, following an abandoned railroad through Fort Wayne’s north side. The tree-shaded paved path connects to Salomon Farm Park and is part of Fort Wayne’s 80-plus-mile urban trail network for walking and cycling.

Getting There

From Fort Wayne, head north on Lima Road. Access the Pufferbelly Trail from the Washington Center Road trailhead at the southern end, or from the Life Bridge Church parking lot on the northern end.
