About This Trail

A 4.2-mile route linking several of the park’s 13 glacial kettle lakes, formed by retreating ice sheets 10,000 years ago, through wetlands and mixed woodland. The trail passes open fields, wooded glacial hills, and swampy lowlands in Noble County, 19 miles northwest of Fort Wayne.

Getting There

From Angola, IN, take I-69 north to the Fremont exit. Follow signs to Chain O'Lakes State Park at 2355 East 75 South, Albion. The Three Lakes Trail begins from the main parking and trail area.
