About This Trail
Starting from Carvers Gap at the NC/TN border, trails traverse nearly 1,000 acres of grassy balds across Round Bald, Jane Bald, and Grassy Ridge. Panoramic Appalachian views unfold in every direction, with massive Catawba rhododendron displays blooming each June.
