About This Trail

A short 1-mile trail to Ohio’s largest natural bridge, a Blackhand sandstone arch spanning over 100 feet and arching 50 feet above a wooded ravine. The 182-acre Rockbridge State Nature Preserve in Hocking County protects this geological landmark along with hemlock-lined gorge scenery just minutes from Hocking Hills State Park.

Getting There

From Logan, take US-33 southeast to Rockbridge. Turn south on Dalton Road and continue to the small gravel parking area at the end. Walk the 0.5-mile Connector Trail to reach the main preserve.
