About This Trail
A strenuous out-and-back ascending over 3,000 feet to Sandwich Dome’s 3,980-foot summit, the highest peak in the Sandwich Range Wilderness. The long, steady climb through hardwood and spruce forest leads to scenic summit ledges with views across the Lakes Region and the White Mountains.
