About This Trail
Traverse 780 acres of Nantucket conservation land spanning a former dairy farm, open heathland, and a dense swampy forest known as The Woods. The 7-mile Ocean Walk leads to the south shore, with well-signed trails of dirt, grass, and sand offering beautiful ocean views and outstanding fall colors.
