About This Trail

A 24-mile greenway stretching from the Potomac River through Montgomery County to Patuxent River State Park, following Seneca Creek through upland woodlands and stream valleys. A natural rock bridge near Watkins Mill Road and a spectacular stream valley overlook highlight the route.

Getting There

From Germantown, take I-270 to the Route 118 exit. Head west on Route 118 to Seneca Creek State Park. Access the Greenway Trail from Clopper Road or the Watkins Mill Road trailhead.
